Most of us who are cat-lovers know they're able to twist us round their paw.  Why, for instance, should they push themselves through a cat flap? Why indeed if you happen to be around to open the door?

Cats enjoy a peaceful life, though when the occasion demands it they can be fierce warriors of their own territory.   That tail can turn into a large and angry baton in no time.  As for the messages coming through those miowing-mutters, they sound  rather like a  whole collection of feline swear words. 

Maybe learning their language might give us a whole new perspective on a cat's world!
